We strongly recommend booking air tickets far in advance. The summer is generally a very popular time to visit Israel.

Most major U.S. Airlines as well as Israel’s national airline, El Al Israel Airlines, offer daily nonstop flights from major U.S. cities to Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport. Another option is to take a connecting flight through Europe, especially if you would like to split your vacation between Israel and Europe.

Ben Gurion International Airport is located 25 minutes from the heart of Tel Aviv and 35 minutes from Jerusalem. From the airport, you can travel to your accommodation via taxi or you can catch a train, Monit Sherut (shared taxi) or bus into the center of the city.
